This Friday 8pm CUMC: Yanni's Talk

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

How are you? Did you enjoy the performance of Children's Choir on Sunday? We should praise the Lord for the great show they put on!!

So... I would like to remind everyone that, starting from July, we will have program on Fridays 8pm if possible. Only if we have some special functions, like outing, we will hold it on Saturdays.

This time, Yannie will give us a talk about the different ways of spreading the Gospel. As Christians, we all have the responsibility to spread the Good News, but we often find it difficult to approach to other non-believers. So, what should we do? Let's come to the fellowship this Friday, and listen to the talk, and share with others your previous evangelical experience.

Date: July 1, 2005 (Friday)
Time: 8pm
Topic: Yannie's Talk (Tentative Title: "Different Ways of Spreading the Gospel")
Venue: Chinese United Methodist Church
825 N. Hill Street, Los Angeles, 90012

Hope to see you all !!

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

On behalf of the Luke fellowship committee, I would like to inform you that starting in July, most of Luke program will be held on Friday. The regular program schedule will be from 8pm to 9.30pm. For special program like outings, or talks given by guest speaker, we may hold on Saturdays. This change is based on our recent poll numbers, and the committee would really like to see more people able to come to the fellowship programs.

We understand that traffic time is bad in LA, but please make an effort to arrive on time for fellowship on Fridays.

Pictures from Joyce's Talk Last Saturday (Jun 4)

Thank you, Joyce. The talk was very good, and it echoes very well to our theme of "Renew Our Strength". It is a very good reminder that we gain our strength from prayers, and from personal devotion time.

And, thank you, Praise Team. We all enjoyed the songs a lot!! You guys are superb!!
